Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Thrum is a puzzle game for iPhone that you play by touch. We, sharkedup, don't collect any data from it. The only things that leave your phone go to Apple, through Game Center and the App Store, and to sharkedup.dev for "More games", described below.

  • No account with us, and no sign-up.
  • No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
  • No access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.
  • Your campaign progress, stats, Daily results and streak, and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, your score for each day's Daily (your time plus a penalty for every bump) and your running count of campaign levels escaped without a bump are sent to Apple's Game Center leaderboards under your Game Center nickname. Nothing else is sent, and Practice runs never are. We don't run any server and keep no copy of your scores. Game Center is optional: the game works fully without it, and Apple's handling of Game Center data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Purchases

Thrum Pro is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or Apple Account. The app checks your purchase on your device.

Sound and haptics

Thrum makes its sounds and vibrations on your phone. It never records audio and does not use the microphone.

Sharing

If you share a Daily result, the app hands a short text line and an image of the revealed map and your path to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes; the app never sees or records that choice.

Internet

When you open "More games", the app downloads a short list of our other games and their icons from sharkedup.dev, and if you open one it loads that game's App Store page from Apple; these are ordinary web requests that send no account, name or other information about you, and we don't use them to identify or track you.

Play itself doesn't need these requests, and nothing in the game changes if they fail.

Thrum is made for all ages, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy follows the principles that cover every sharkedup game.

If this policy ever changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
