Privacy Policy

Word Burner is a daily word game for iPhone. We, sharkedup, don't collect any data from it. The app talks to Apple, through Apple's own Game Center and App Store, and, only when you open "More games", to our own website (see Internet below).

• No account with us, and no sign-up.
• No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
• No access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.
• Your streak, scores, and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, your score for each day's puzzle is sent to Apple's Game Center leaderboard under your Game Center nickname, and the app reads the leaderboard to show your rank. Practice rounds are never sent. We don't run any server and keep no copy of your scores. Game Center is optional: the game works fully without it, and Apple's handling of Game Center data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Purchases

Word Burner Pro is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or Apple Account. The app checks your purchase on your device so Pro keeps working offline.

Sharing

If you share your result, the app hands an image to the standard iOS share sheet. It shows your score and the shape of your round, never your words. You choose where it goes; the app never sees or records that choice.

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, your phone schedules it locally. Nothing about it is sent to us or anyone else, and you can turn it off from the bell on the menu or in iOS Settings.

Internet

The game itself works offline. The app goes online for Game Center, for App Store purchases, and for the "More games" list. When you open "More games", the app downloads a short list of our other games and their icons from sharkedup.dev, and if you open one it loads that game's App Store page from Apple; these are ordinary web requests that send no account, name or other information about you, and we don't use them to identify or track you.

Word Burner is made for all ages, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy follows the principles that cover every sharkedup game.

If this policy ever changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
